About this site

recetasmexas.com is an editorial platform and a directory. We publish recipes, cultural guides and listings of Mexican grocers and restaurants, with content prepared for readers in Australia.

We are not a shop. We do not sell food, kitchen equipment or any other goods, we take no orders and we process no payments. Where a page links to a product or to a business, the sale, the price, the delivery and the after-sales service are entirely between you and that third party, under their own terms.

Intellectual property

All rights to our original content (text, translations, our own photographs, cultural stories, the brand and the logos) belong to the operator. You may share links and print pages for your own personal use. Any other reproduction, redistribution or commercial reuse needs our written permission.

Third-party listings

Details about restaurants, grocers and products come from the businesses themselves or from public sources, and they change without telling us. Opening hours, addresses, prices and stock are a starting point, not a promise: please confirm them with the business before you travel or buy.

Amazon Associates affiliate disclosure

Recetas Mexas takes part in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program that lets sites earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links never change what you pay.

Privacy

Personal information about readers in Australia is handled under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which we recognise as the standard for how we collect, use and disclose it. The regulator is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). What we collect, why, and how to ask for access or correction is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Applicable law and your consumer rights

The site is operated from Spain, and Spanish law applies to the business itself. That does not take away the protection you have at home: if you are a reader in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law — enforced by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) — applies to you, as does the Privacy Act 1988. Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee that the Australian Consumer Law gives you.
