Angeles at Peckham Arches

At Peckham Arches, Unit 6, Dovedale Business Centre, London SE15 4QN. An LA-inspired pop-up and residency on a covered terrace: tacos al pastor with pineapple, plus green and tomato salsas. The listing quotes four tacos and a beer for £20.

Hermanos Taco House

Los Gordos Freight Brixton

Azteca Öme Battersea

At 5-9 Battersea Rise, London SW11 1HG. A Mexican-Japanese fusion restaurant and sibling to the Chelsea original, with a cantina dining room, outdoor veranda, La Fiesta late-night bar and private dining areas. Upper mid-range.

1910 Cantina Balham

At 3 Ramsden Road, London SW12 8QX. A Mexican-owned cantina on a residential street, opened in July 2020, with tacos, tequila and mezcal. Evenings from Monday, plus a Sunday lunch service.

Brorritos Clapham

At 13 North Street, London SW4 0HN, in Clapham Old Town. Large burritos, tacos and Mexican comfort food in the budget band, one of several south London locations. Closed Mondays; open to 1am on Fridays.

Chelsea (SW3)

Ixchel

At 33H King's Road, London SW3 4LX. A Mexican restaurant and tequila bar led by head chef Ximena Gayosso, in the upper mid-range band, with lunch and dinner services.

Mezcalito Chelsea

At 119 Sydney Street, London SW3 6NR. Tapas-style Mexican plates and cocktails, with more than 500 bottles of tequila and mezcal that the venue describes as one of Europe's largest collections. Closed on Mondays.

Mestizo Chelsea

At 392 King's Road, London SW3 5UZ. A restaurant and Margarita Bar with an adjacent Mexican grocery market, and a second outpost of the Euston original. Mid-range band.

Azteca Chelsea

At 329 King's Road, London SW3 5ES. Established in 1996, with classic Mexican dishes across a cantina, restaurant and late-night bar. Opens from 5pm daily.

Fulham and Putney (SW6, SW15)

Yucca

At 496 Fulham Road, London SW6 5NH. The kitchen describes itself as serving the West London community with Mexican flavours and warm hospitality. Mid-range, open from midday daily.

1910 Cantina Parsons Green

At 277 New Kings Road, London SW6 4RD. The second London outpost of the Mexican-owned 1910 Cantina, with the same taco, tequila and mezcal-led menu as Balham, in a relaxed Fulham setting.

Wimbledon (SW19)

Wahaca Wimbledon
