Pecan Nuts

Pecan nuts are native to northern Mexico and the southern United States, and are one of the most prized nuts in northern Mexican baking. They feature in Mexican pecan pie, pecan pralines, Chihuahua-style pecan ice cream, and salads with goat's cheese. They are harvested in autumn and often sold freshly shelled.
