About Recetas Mexas
What is Recetas Mexas?+
An editorial platform dedicated to authentic Mexican cooking, with recipes adapted so you can make them in the US with ingredients you can find here.
Is it free?+
Yes. All recipes, cultural guides and use of the platform are 100% free. Premium features only exist for business profiles (shops/restaurants) that want to be featured.

Recipes
Are the recipes authentic or tex-mex?+
Authentic. Every recipe starts from a documented traditional version of a Mexican region (Oaxaca, Yucatán, Puebla, CDMX, etc.). When we include something tex-mex, we flag it explicitly.
What if I can't find an ingredient in the US?+
Every ingredient comes with a note on culturally close substitutions. In the US most Mexican ingredients are easy to find at Latin grocery stores and large chains (Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B). For harder-to-find items, we tell you where to buy them online, including Amazon US.
Can I print the recipes?+
Yes. Every recipe page has an optimized print button.
Where do I find Mexican ingredients in the US?+
At Latin supermarkets (Northgate, Vallarta, El Rancho, Fiesta Mart), in the international/Hispanic aisle of big chains like Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B and Target, and online via Amazon US and specialist stores.
Account and privacy
Do I need to create an account?+
No, not to read recipes. Yes, if you want to save favorites, create shopping lists or rate recipes.
Do you share my data?+
We do not sell your data. See /en-us/privacy. We respect your privacy rights, including those of California residents under the CCPA/CPRA.
How do I delete my account?+
Email contacto@recetasmexas.com requesting deletion. We respond within a reasonable timeframe in line with applicable privacy law (including the CCPA for California residents).
Business directory (coming to the US)
Do you have a directory of Mexican restaurants/shops in the US?+
Not yet — we are waiting for US traffic to show enough interest before opening the directory here. Today we cover Spain and the UK. When we open in the US we will announce it via the newsletter.
I own a Mexican restaurant/shop in the US. How do I sign up?+
Email contacto@recetasmexas.com with your business. We will gather interest during the traffic phase and open registrations once there is critical volume.
